About this event
The Connecticut Valley Region is excited to announce the 2026 Clash at the Glen Club Race scheduled July 10-12, 2026.
Volunteering puts you right in the middle of the action—working alongside passionate enthusiasts, supporting racers from across the country, and helping deliver a premier national‑level event. We’re looking for volunteers in Registration, Garage Administration, Tech Inspection, and Grid. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new to Club Racing, there’s a place for you on the team. This is your chance to be part of one of PCA Club Racing’s most thrilling weekends at historic Watkins Glen International.
A quick note of thanks: Quite a few positions have already been filled. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up so far. We still have several important volunteer opportunities that need coverage, and your support truly makes a difference.
IMPORTANT: If you have already committed your time to this event by email or phone, please complete the online registration so we can track assignments accurately.
Volunteer Roles Available – We strongly encourage a 3-day commitment to ensure consistency throughout the weekend.
Registration Assist with waiver signing and wristband distribution at the Registration Building outside the northwest corner of the track. This role is needed Thursday afternoon through the weekend. This a high‑traffic area, especially Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
Garage Administration The operational hub of the race weekend. Responsibilities include racer check‑ins, racer wristbands, copies, and distributing race results. All volunteers sign in here daily.
Tech Inspection Support PCA National Scrutineers as cars are weighed and inspected for compliance and safety. All work takes place in the first bays of the garage.
Grid Help stage cars before each session. Volunteers guide racers into position and communicate grid numbers. This is a loud, fast‑moving environment—arrival at least 15 minutes before each session is required.
Flex/Floater Supports various areas of race operations as needed. Filling in for breaks, covering unexpected gaps, and assisting different teams to keep the event running smoothly.
3‑Day Volunteer Rewards
- Club Race Jacket
- Free Thursday, Friday, and Saturday dinner ticket
Volunteers are asked to commit to a full session.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Glen!
Lisa Parker, CVR Club Race Chair
